Smallmouth, Perch and Muskie Fishing. The best
walleye bite is from opener through the end of
June. That said, the walleye can be convinced to
bite throughout the summer when you know where
to go and what to use. Smallmouth bass in Mille
Lacs average 17 inches and better and the bite is
good all summer long.
