Caught allot of fish in the 14-19 foot range up on the north end sand. Kept 9 fish and we caught 21. Bobber fishing Saturday night with 1000 other people on agate reef and it was very slow. Sunday the fish were a little deeper caught most of the fish in the 22-24 foot range. Big fish today was a fat 9lber. These fish are done spawning and are on the move out. The Sand bite will be very short this year. We caught all are daytime fish with 1/2 oz Lindy no-snag sinker with 7-8 foot leaders and a plain hook.

Fishing has been very solid for the last couple of weeks. The transitions areas and gravel bars are holding allot of fish. We are still catching fish with 1/2 oz Lindy no-snag sinkers with 7-8 foot leaders and a plain hook. Starting to get a few more to go after spinners and crawlers as well. Look to fish the gravel bars in 26-29 feet of water. The night bite on the rocks is on fire all over the lake. Great to see those new Lindy Splash Brite bobbers going under in the night

Mud flats still seem to be the best. Gravel bars are producing some fish as well. We are catching fish with 2-3 oz sinkers and fishing with spinners and crawlers. Also mixing in more and more lindy rigging with a leech. The last 2 days the lindy rig with Daytime fishing has been good this week, but slowed down starting Thursday. The a leech has been good. Catch rates are down in the 20's now but bigger fish are showing up not as many eaters for me right now. But 22-26 inchers are fun to catch.

Daytime fishing has been good. The Mud flats still seem to be the best. We are still catching fish with 2-3 oz sinkers and fishing with the new Lindy Spinners and crawlers. Also mixing in more and more lindy rigging with a leech and some days the miss some days 1-5 of them are eaters other days 8-10 are eaters. Next week the slot will increase to fish up to 20 inches can be kept, so full limits for clients should not be a problem at all as we have released allot of 18-20 inches this year. Smallmouth bass bite has been very good also. Very specific spots though. Not like years ago when you could get them on just about any rock reef. For some reason this year they won't be on the regular rock piles then you will hit one that is loaded and catch 40 fish on one rock pile.

Fishing has been very up and down for me for the last couple of weeks. Early morning and night time has been the best time for walleyes. If it is cloudy and windy they can still be coaxed into biting during the day. The Mud flats still seem to be the best. Lindy rigging with a leech has been the better option. Also the trolling bite is going well, some days it goes good others not so good and I have to switch back to Lindy rigging. Best cranks for me have been the natural perch Lindy Shadling #5 and the purple Lindy Shadling #5 followed closely by the jointed rapala #5 Firetiger. August is here and I usually start to fish the shallow rocks with bobbers, hopefully this will produce more walleye limits. I will keep you all updated. Smallmouth bass bite has been very good also. Very specific spots though. The best bite has been on senkos or some would call it a wacky worm presentation. They have been killing these. Also a bobber with a nightcrawler under it is doing well.

Fishing has still been very up and down. Early morning trolling cranks has been the best in transition areas and deep gravel bars. If it is cloudy and windy the shallow Smallmouth bass continues to be very good. The best bite has been on senkos or some would call it a wacky worm presentation. They have been killing these. Also a bobber with a leech under it is doing well.

has been an excellent bite. I have been catching fishing pulling leadcore on the north end sand as well as the main gravel bars like 4 and 5 mile. I also found a decent lindy rig bite again out on the mud flats. Overall this was one of the best walleye fishing years we have had I would rate this season as above average
